Glitter Tutorial

To do this you have to have Paint Shop Pro(PSP) and Animation Shop (AS) if you dont have them you can find free trials all over the internet :)

1) Open PSP/ go to file/ Jasc Software Products/ Launch AS

2) Open a new image and make it transparent, set it to 600x200

3) Take this glitter and save it to your PSP files/Patterns

4) Go to AS, go to file/open/ PSP files/Patterns, find your glitter and open it

5) Now some AS open the glitter as 3 animations and some dont so i will show you how to do that

a) After you have opened your glitter move the animation over so you have 3 squares, next go to edit/duplicate selected and it will make another one of that same tile

b) Then go to animation/flip after you do this you will see the animation has flipped

c) Now go back to edit/duplicate selected, now on this one both the second and the third tiles are selected so make sure only the third selected

Now go back to animation and click mirror it should have mirror the image and you now have your 3 tiles

6) Go back to edit and click select all/then copy

7) Next go back to PSP and go to edit/paste/images as multiple images, when yo do that your animations should be there in 3 separate images

8) Take your text and type a word on your main transparent image, make sure your font colors are both the same

9) Now go to your materials and click on the first square, go to patterns and there you will see your 3 glitter tiles, click on the first one (Never pick current pattern it doesnt work) Now after you have picked your glitter your first square should have the glitter in it

After you do that pick the second square and do the same pick the same glitter you did for your first one

10) Now go to your side tool bar and click on your selection tool and select your magic wand

a) Now take your fill tool and click on your image to make it a Raster Layer but dont fill it in, after you have done this hit shift+D and make 2 more of the same image

b) Take your wand and click on the first letter of your word, then you are going to take your fill in tool and fill in the letter with your glitter, take your wand after that and click and fill each individual letter until you have the full thing in glitter

11) Copy your animation and take it to AS, hit ctrl+v then your animation will pop up

a) repeat steps 11-13 for the second and third images that you still have in PSP, (When you fill in your second and third images remember to click the next glitter tile and not the same one you had at first)(Dont Click Current Pattern!)

b) when you go to add your second and third images to AS hit Shift+Ctrl+L and they will come up behind your current image

12) Go to view/animation to check to make sure your glitter is right and if you did it right it should be, and your glitter is done :) just save it and put it in your photobucket or imageshack :)
